Prepping the RV when #MomsNotHome

The Boy Wonder LOVES to spray from bottles.  Doesn’t matter what it is, if he can get his hands on a spray bottle he does not stop until nothing comes out.  Entire bottles of vinegar water have been emptied and then ‘cleaned up’ with the bottle of Febreeze. Since he started climbing, every once in a while he remembers this particular desire, climbs onto the dryer and will throw down every spray bottle he can touch.  The hope is we catch him before he gets too far into any particular bottle.

Rather than fight this, I decided to put it to work.  The girls were in Germany for Lyme treatment for three weeks (another story altogether) and I decided to take the two of us on a week-long RV trip.  The RV needed a bit of touch up, especially the windshield.

So I gave the The Boy Wonder a bottle of Windex and let him go.  I made sure to direct him and get the entire windshield – a lesson he has not forgotten – wiped it down and then gave him the RainX and we repeated the entire thing.  He LOVED it!  Plus, it was actually really helpful because I could not get up there easily.

As luck would have it, I captured several pictures of The Boy Wonder on the hood of the RV – it is a little steep – and made sure to post it to Facebook and tagged it with #MomsNotHome.  She was not pleased.
